Nominated World Music Group of the Year at the 2010 Canadian Folk Music Awards – is Québec’s most sought after drum & didgeridoo band. It is formed by Rodolphe Gagnon (didgeridoo, sliding didgeridoo and guitar), Julien Fréchette (didgeridoo), Sylvain Plante (drums / percussions) and Dany Nicolas (acoustic & electric guitar, banjo and mandolin). Apadoorai stands out from conventional musical styles. Right from the start, and following many musical influences, the dynamic grooves of the didgeridoo duo set the mood of the show, mixing a strong rhythmic section and guitar lines to carry the crowds to an exhilarating ancestral trance, while maintaining the natural sound of the instruments.
