Redfish is the band you hear whispers about under the radar of the big pop drama that is today's rapid-fire, mega-advertising music biz. As the whispers get louder you hear they are a solid original, rock band with a never ending supply of explosive energy. When you finally get to see their live show, they deliver. The whispers were right.
In fact, word of mouth has been a huge catalyst. It has gained the band headline slots at festivals all over BC, a full length CD, music video, main stages with Evanescence, Finger Eleven, Seether, Sloan, 54-40, the Trews and the Northern Pikes, and “Rock Group of the Year” at the 2004 Scorpion Music Awards in Kelowna, BC.
With over 300 shows under their belt, the resolve to perform has never been stronger for Redfish. Not even a crazed hotel clerk shooting a high powered rifle inches from one of the band member's head could deter them from hitting the stage, which in fact did happen on a cold December night in the little town of Fairmont, BC last year.
The show must go on.
